The task was to come up with a solution for how to fulfill the main function of your assigned product (bike helmet) in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
"REKYL" is a bike helmet that is completely free from glue. The helmet is designed to be disassembled. The helmet's components are primarily made from recycled materials as much as possible. This is to reduce the use of the earth's resources. The assembly takes place through modular components that are fastened via click solutions to simplify reuse and the recycling of the materials at the end of the product's life. If a component needs to be repaired, it can easily be replaced with a new part without affecting the rest of the helmet.
